Al Pozzo 8
About This Spot
Stepping into Al Pozzo 8 is like discovering a charming little enclave tucked just beyond Trento’s bustling historic center—a spot where warmth and youthful energy blend effortlessly over shared plates and lively conversation. The space hums with a casual vibrance, inviting you to settle in without hurry, while the friendly faces behind the counter create a welcoming pulse that feels both genuine and unpretentious.
This is a place shaped by a spirit of craft and connection. The kitchen’s passion shines subtly through each thoughtfully crafted dish, where fresh, handmade pasta or delicate tartare finds its place alongside carefully considered accompaniments. The menu itself might be concise, yet its offerings invite you on a deliberate, sensory journey—each bite reflecting a balance of simplicity and thoughtful detail that feels personal rather than scripted.
The atmosphere carries a young, dynamic vibe, enhanced by an easy playlist and a service style that’s warm without being overbearing. It’s clear that the team here isn’t just focused on filling tables but on creating moments—whether you’re a curious traveler or a returning guest who has quietly adopted the spot as a local favorite.
If you’re wandering through Corso Michelangelo Buonarroti, making a detour to Al Pozzo 8 introduces you to something quietly special: a small restaurant alive with approachable elegance and the sort of subtle joy that lingers long after the last forkful. It’s a place that feels like an unfolding discovery, where each visit promises something both familiar and new.

We just arrived randomly to this place after seeing the good reviews on their place, and I must say, it was one of the best restaurants we’ve been in Italy! Amazing food, awesome staff and young atmosphere, and it all came with a great service! Would definitely recommend and come back when we’ll arrive to visit again.

We have tasted food in several restaurants in Trento (Trentino) but in Al Pozzo 8, we found the food to our taste, so we decided that we would be permanent guests of this place. Me and my husband came to visit Trento and we are glad that we found these wonderful chefs who are very kind and cook wonderfully. Warm greetings to the chefs Sergej, Emiliano, Emir !!! Thank you for your hospitality ,see you soon !!!

Best pasta ever!!! It's a small restaurant with a young, dynamic team offering a short menu (3 primi, 3 secondi) along with a few daily suggestions. The pasta is handmade, and you can truly taste the difference. The spaghetti was divine, perfectly al dente, fresh, and delicious. It’s located a bit outside the historic center, but absolutely worth the detour.

Nearly ordered more than half of the menu, only problem was that all the food was fantastico Vibrant energy with good music

A wonderful dining experience I didn't expect from such an unassuming little restaurant in a town somewhere in Tirol. The menu features a small selection of dishes, all of which are crafted with intent. The staff was unobtrusive, yet always there when we needed something. The service wasn't just professional, but also really cared about the guests having a good experience, which is too rare these days. How this place manages to deliver this kind of dining at the prices of your average neighborhood pizzaria is beyond me.

Had a great quick lunch after exploring Trento for a few hours. Good pasta and duck for good value on their lunch menu. The experience here was the complete opposite to the terrible dinner we had in Bolzano at Zur Kaiserkron. Simple pasta done right, that’s all we asked for and Al Pozzo 8 delivered!
